Request for Test Monitoring
Requesting Test Accommodation Monitoring
If you have students who need testing accommodations (extended time, reduced distraction environment) or need to take a make-up test, we can monitor it for you. We will make sure that any restrictions you enforced on your class (time limit, no access to materials/resources, etc.) will be in place during the make-up test.
All requests need to be made 5 business days before the scheduled test.
For more details on the testing procedure, read our Test Monitoring Procedures.
Test Monitoring Policies
Before submitting a request form, please read the policy below:
- The Office for Academic Success will enforce all testing requirements stated by the professor. This includes access to information, device use, time restrictions, and the like.
- The student needs to turn over all their bags, materials, books, phones and other devices, etc. to the Testing Proctor before taking the test. They will be able to collect all of them after they have completed the exam.
- The student cannot access the computer in the testing room station unless the professor has given a computer-based exam. If taking a computer-based exam, the student is not allowed to access any online resources unless the professor has given permission.
- If the student needs to take a restroom break, they need to inform the Testing Proctor before doing so.
- While taking the test, the student cannot discuss with any person in the vicinity any information related to the test.
