RN to BSN: Bachelor of Science in Nursing UG

The RN to BSN degree prepares students to become nurse generalists. 

Program Overview

The nursing curriculum focuses on the development of management and leadership skills, culture-sensitive health care, individual and family assessment skills, and research in the nursing practice. As a graduate of our RN to BSN program you will be prepared to progress to advanced practice programs at the graduate level, e.g. MSN, BSN-DNP programs.

 

Program Details

Holy Family University and its School of Nursing & Health Sciences recognize the diverse education and clinical backgrounds of registered nurses.

Required nursing courses are held once a week in a 15 week format at our Newtown campus facility that provides classes in a face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online modality.

On-site cohort opportunities are available at your work location with discounted tuition. A cohort is a tight-knit learning community of students, enrolled together throughout their entire academic program.

Generous Transfer Policy

The RN license brings in 51 nursing credits. 27 credits must be completed at Holy Family University (24 nursing credits and GNED 400). Up to a maximum of 90 credits may be accepted for students who transfer into this program.

 

Admission Requirements

  • Application 
  • Official transcripts from all previous colleges and nursing schools attended
  • Copy of current RN license – Maintaining a current RN license in good standing is a program requirement
  • International applicants and applicants whose first language is other than English must submit scores of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
