We're Excited to Welcome You to Our Campus!

Now that you have applied for housing and made your deposit for the 2021-2022 school year here at Holy Family University, you are one step closer to moving in!

You may have some questions about housing, roommates, move-in, etc. and we will do our best to answer some here. Emails with information will go out throughout the summer. Please make sure you are checking your Holy Family email at least once per week! Formal emails with move-in details and roommate information go out the last week of July/first week of August. In addition, check out the Residence Life portion of the website for FAQs and what to bring.

Move-in day is Sunday, August 29, 2021, for all students and takes place from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. If you’re an early arrival athlete, your information on check-in will come later in the summer. Early arrival move-in day is Sunday, August 18 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am.

In order to check-in, all students come to the Campus Center first floor by the Security desk, fill out paperwork, get keys, card access, etc. and then drive over to the designated residence hall where they unload. For new students moving into Stevenson Lane (SLR), we will have student leaders ready to assist you with unpacking your vehicle at your residence hall. Once unpacked, you will enjoy fun activities and events throughout the rest of the day!

Please bring other moving equipment you feel you will need to assist with your move in. Students should not go to their building prior to officially checking in. No items can be moved into spaces without checking in first.

Move-in day is very busy and we must remain on schedule. If you are not on time for move-in, you will need to come back during normal business hours of M-F 8 am – 4 pm to check-in. You would come to Campus Center 218 to do so.

Please make sure you confirm PRIOR to move-in with the Office of Student Accounts that you are cleared for move-in. Students with holds or outstanding balances are not permitted to move into the halls. Staff will email you prior of your status, so you will be aware.

In addition, all students must be registered full-time and have Health Services clearance, in order to move-in. Again, your status will be emailed to you so you will know if you are cleared or not. Athletes should confirm health clearance with Athletics as well as Health Services.

We will have representatives from the Help Desk available for ID issues, computer help, etc. on move-in day. If you have questions ahead of time, contact the Help Desk: 267-341-3402.

We also encourage you to sign up for an Orientation Day! This will help you familiarize yourself even more with our campus and check out our resources!

Barnes and Nobles will be sending information home and will have a table at orientation with information on purchasing linens and other items for your room. Contact our Bookstore for more information on this program at 267-341-3657.

Please make sure you are using your Holy Family email and get that setup, as it is the official way the University communicates with its students. The Holy Family email account information is sent to your home in a letter from the Registrar’s Office. If you haven’t received that yet, it may be on its way. All following correspondence from our office will be sent to your Holy Family email address.
