Erica Bush
Lead Instructional Designer and Technologist

Erica Bush serves as Lead Instructional Designer and Technologist for the Academic Technology team at Holy Family University. She also serves an Adjunct Professor teaching Advanced Web Design and Development. Erica previously served as Assistant Director of Online Learning at a community college and an Instructional Designer in both higher education and corporate environments.

Before working in the field of instructional design, she was a webmaster for Einstein Healthcare Network, Penn Medicine, Cheyney University, and Brandywine Realty Trust. Erica has a B.S. from Drexel University in Engineering and Education and a M.S. in Instructional Technology Management from La Salle University.

As a lifelong learner, Erica is passionate about bridging the digital divide and helping instructors to create engaging, interactive and inclusive learning experiences.

Gloria Carrasco
Instructional Technologist

Gloria Carrasco is an instructional technologist with the Academic Technology team at Holy Family University. She has a B.A. in English from the University of Maryland and is actively working towards completing a master’s in educational technology at Florida Gulf Coast University.

Gloria worked in the field of education as an English and ESL teacher for more than twenty years. She is passionate about driving digital learning and empowering educators with the tools and strategies they need to engage their students in the digital era.

Gloria has taught online and face to face courses in the U.S. and abroad. She is committed to assisting educators in creating captivating course content in the Canvas platform and infusing new technologies such as adding quizzes to videos, podcasts, digital storytelling, and gaming platforms.
