School of Education Adjunct Lecturers/Field Supervisors

The School of Education seeks applications from potential adjunct lecturers for courses and field supervision related to the PDE Curriculum and Instruction Supervisory Certificate.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for Adjunct lecturers include, but are not limited to:

  • Teaching of courses in their assigned disciplines.
  • Maintaining academic excellence in their classrooms.
  • Providing grades and feedback to students in a timely fashion.
  • Using appropriate technology, including Canvas.
  • Note: Courses needing instructors are scheduled to meet face-to-face during the day or evenings on weekdays. 
  • Field Supervisors must supervise, coach and evaluate their Curriculum & Instruction candidates in the field. 
  • We are not looking for instructors for completely online classes at this time.

Qualifications

  • Hold an earned doctoral degree and current PA Curriculum and Instruction Certificate. 
  • Qualified candidates will be experienced teachers and/or administrators with a solid command of instructional best practices and a strong commitment to mentoring. 
  • For field supervision, eligible candidates must be available on weekdays for school-site supervisory visits.
