All are invited to assist the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth USA, Inc. and the Sisters of St. Basil the Great in collecting items for Ukraine.
The media relations team serves as the primary contact for all media inquiries for the Philadelphia and Newtown campus locations. The team collects and shares Holy Family University news with the press and gathers information about the University community.
The press is encouraged to contact the media relations team to interview faculty experts in a variety of fields.

On Monday, September 20, the Holy Family University community came together in the Campus Center to participate in a service project with Campus Ministry to support the Blessed Sarnelli Community in Philadelphia, an organization dedicated to providing for people in need. The volunteers worked together to prepare 510 sandwiches for distribution to the homeless.
On August 3, Director of Student Conduct and Advocacy Sister Marcella Binkowski CSFN and International Student Affairs Assistant Sister Julianna Tran CSFN represented Holy Family University at the 8th Police District National Night Out event.
Holy Family University and the Frankford-Northeast Philadelphia Rotary Club teamed up for a Drive-By Collection of medical supplies that was held on the University campus on Thursday, June 17.

On April 17, Holy Family University’s Social and Behavioral Sciences Association (SBSA) hosted the Out of the Darkness Campus Walk, sponsored by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), to raise awareness of suicide and mental health issues.
As one of the Mission Core Values of Holy Family University, Service is a principle of significant importance to the University community. Recently, the University has spotlighted the service of the Holy Family University community by affixing canvases in buildings on both the Philadelphia and Newtown campuses featuring photos of students, staff, and faculty engaging in service projects.
Suicide is the second leading cause of death among young people. AFSP is working to change that.
Last year, Holy Family University doctorate student Jack Mills, M.Ed. visited One Bright Ray Community Adult High School on the campus of Strawberry Mansion High School in North Philadelphia to meet about a potential graduate research assistantship on the recommendation of School of Education faculty Janet McNellis, Ph.D., associate dean and Roger W. Gee, Ph.D., professor.
On Monday, January 18, 2021, Holy Family University continued its annual tradition of the Martin Luther King Jr. federal holiday being a "Day On" for the University community with the MLK Day of Service.
