We are so glad to see that you are interested in our Doctor of Counseling Psychology (PsyD) program.
The PsyD program at Holy Family University has a social justice and multicultural focus, with a scientist practitioner-training model. It is wholeheartedly committed to training experience that espouses evidence-based practice and state-of- the-art interventions. Additionally, it is designed upon the foundational values of the discipline of Counseling Psychology, including a developmental, strength-based, and mind-body approach to treatment and wellness.
In particular, the Holy Family University PsyD training program will be guided by the APA accreditation standards and will prepare graduates to become license-eligible psychologists in the State of Pennsylvania. A unique feature of this program will be the opportunity for students to complete training to teach in higher education. These teaching for Higher Education courses will focus both on face-to-face and on-line offerings.
