Internship and Career Services

Explore. Experience. Excel.

The mission of the Career Development Center is to provide students with the tools needed to become successful in the job market after graduation. This exploration begins during freshman year and continues after graduation. The Career Development Center takes seriously the needs of the students and graduates, understanding that navigating a job search can be challenging in a new field.

Students and alumni receive individualized career guidance in formulating and pursuing their career goals. From self-assessment, through career exploration, to devising the tools for an effective job search, personalized service helps meet the needs of each.

Experiential Learning Program

Students within the schools of Arts & Sciences and Business and Technology, as well as the Health Promotion & Wellness students under the School of Nursing & Health Sciences, are required to complete an internship assignment in their field of study, prior to graduation. The Internship Experience Specialist will assist you in your internship search, teaching job search readiness skills along the way.

Career Services Staff

All Undergraduate students are eligible to participate in the Career Services Program. Work with the our staff one semester before graduation to prepare your resume and cover letter, along with anything else you need in your "job search tool kit". Our staff will assist you in your job search, connecting you directly to employers seeking candidates in a variety of fields.

Alumni Services, Master's and Doctoral Level students

All students and graduates are eligible to receive assistance from the Career Development Center. Resume and cover letter writing assistance, mock interviews and long-term career planning are just a few of the services our staff can provide.
